Pastor Daniel Rachmat came to the United States to pursue his higher education. Right after receiving a master's degree from Azusa Pacific University, God changed his course of life career. Together with his wife, Xenia, he moved to New York City in 1991 to reach the Indonesian community.
By 2004, they had sent missionaries to plant churches in Amsterdam, Holland (1992), Boston (1993), Washington, DC (1995), Philadelphia (1997), Seattle (2003), and the newly established satellite church in Scranton, PA (2004).
Also in 2004, they founded The Channel, a means to spread the Gospel through art and multimedia in Indonesia. The Channel meets every month in Jakarta. Please visit www.the-channel.org.
In 2006, they opened Grand Mulia Arts & Culture Center that serves the community of Woodside in a fun and educational way with Christian faith-based as the foundation.
In 2007, a grand exhibition about the beautiful side of Indonesia opens in September. Soon afterward, the Indonesia Beautiful is organized to promote arts and culture of Indonesia. Thanks to Xenia who mastermind the concept and ideas.
